Alt Lines: a different point spread or total than the one originally offered by the sportsbook. Betting alt lines can lead to limits from the sportsbooks, they should be avoided.

BankRoll: The amount of money that you are able to dedicate to matched betting.

Bet and Get: a sportsbook promotional offer that makes the player bet a certain amount, and upon bet settlement they get free bets or site credit.

Conversion Rate: The percentage rate that sportsbook offers can be turned into cash.

Expected Value (EV): The amount of money that is expected to be earned off a promotion.

Play Through: The amount of times that a promotional bet must be wagered through before it is turned into withdrawable cash.

Point Spread: a point spread or handicap given by the sportsbook to even out the betting action on a game that is expected to be one-sided. The point spread is designed to give the underdog team a certain number of points that are added to their score, while the favorite team has a certain number of points subtracted from their score.
