VIP Status
After you have completed all the initial sign up promotions, the best way to funnel repeat promotional offers is to achieve VIP status. Becoming VIP is when you bet so much money the sportsbook views you as a high roller and give you promotions in order to have you keep placing bets on their books.
When you have bet enough to reach VIP status, you will most likely be contacted by a VIP rep or a host. They are in charge of interacting with VIP players and keeping them betting on their sportsbook. When a rep contacts you, you should always ask if there are any promotions available to you, even if they did not offer you one upon contact. Most likely the rep will offer you some sort of deposit match, which as stated above are very profitable.
If you are not interested in bonuses you can always ask for tickets to games or events. Most large casinos have suites at major sporting arenas and will often do giveaways for tickets. I personally love football and was able to get my VIP rep to give me free tickets to NFL games. How do I achieve VIP
VIP status is achieved by simply having a big handle. “Handle” is how much you bet. So, if you bet $5000 a week, you have a weekly handle of $5000.The larger your handle is, the more likely you are to be contacted by a VIP host. It is impossible to say what type of handle is needed to be a VIP since it varies so much by book, but a monthly handle of $5k is a good number to go after[/woodmart_text_block]
What books have VIP programs?
All of the major sportsbooks have VIP programs. When I say major sportsbook I am referring to Fanduel, Draftkings, Ceasers, Betmgm, Betrivers and Barstool. These casinos absolutely dominate the market, and spend a lot of money on player retention and keeping players happy. This is not to say that the smaller, state specific sportsbooks don’t have VIP, they are just smaller and much harder to obtain.
Draftkings
Draft kings has arguably the easiest VIP program to enter, and the most well known. A few bets greater than a $1000 normally gets you an email or text from a host asking you if you would like to enter their VIP showcase.
The showcase is 3 weeks long with a new VIP offer every Thursday. The offers change, but it is normally a bet and get, profit boost and risk free bet. They are worth a couple thousand dollars in profit combined, and hedging them can be a great way to create handle on another book!
After the showcase you will be assigned a VIP host who will be in charge of you and giving you specific offers.
Fanduel
Fanduels VIP is probably the smallest of the major books, and this is because Fanduel wants to position its self as the book of the casual bettor. They would prefer to have 100 people who bet $10, than one person who bets $1000.
This makes Fanduel VIP hard to obtain, so I would suggest focusing on achieving it on other books. The only way to really obtain fanduel VIP is to loose A LOT of money…
Caesars
Caeser's VIP program almost runs exclusively in conjunction with their tier reward points. Reward points can be cashed for free nights, bonus bets, free meals, etc… Once you hit 5,000 tier points you will most likely be contacted by some one from their team, and will start to be given targeted offers
More tier points are rewarded for more risky bets, so the more + money the odds are, the more tier points you will be given. This means that if you are trying to "create handle" on Caesars by betting large amounts on heavy favorites, you will not be rewarded adequately.
If you get high enough in Caesar's reward system you will be introduced to a lot of cool perks such as monthly free bets, cruise tickets, discounted/free hotel stays, game tickets and much more!
BetMGM
BetMGM VIP program is very kind to the loosers, and not so kind to the winners. If you are loosing on mgm, they will send very plentiful offers that can be worth a lot of value! For example, just this week I have gotten 5 offers from mgm that are worth of $3000 in profit!
However, if you are winning on mgm the offers will dry up really quick and they will not be too kind to you. Try to “loose” your money on mgm if you can.
BetRivers
Betrivers has a very transparent VIP system, and unique in the fact that they do not care about how much you win, they are only interested in how much you bet. In order to achieve VIP status on BR you need to achieve level 7 of their tier system. Their tier system is structured around volume, so the more you bet the higher you go in the tier system.
You need a monthly handle of $32,000 to achieve level 7. Once that level is achieved you will given access to the VIP calender. Th VIP calender resests every month and is a structured and transparent reward system that gives special offers on different days.
For example, one day on the calendar might say bet $500 on baseball, get a $250 free bet. Or another may be your next NFL bet is risk free! The nice thing about this VIP system is the transparency. You always know what you're going to get in advance and don’t have to worry about dealing with a VIP rep!
Betrivers VIP program is worth a couple thousand a month and is extremely consistent. If that handle is obtainable it is worth doing.
Barstool
Barstool grants members VIP by making a deposit of $10000 or greater. They will normally reward the large match with 15% percent site credit, but you may get 20% depending on if your rep is in a good mood or not.
Once the large deposit is made you will be marked as a vip in the systemf and you will also receive VIP offers every Friday! These offers are never anything crazy but are worth about a couple hundred dollars, which is plenty to have a really fun weekend!
TIPS and tricks for VIP
Ask! Always ask your rep if you can have a bigger bonus, always ask support if they have any offers for you, etc… Even if you don’t think you’ll qualify for whatever you are asking for, still do it anyways, you just never know!
For example, I had a bad “loosing” streak on Golden Nugget, and was “down” over $5000 so I called them up and asked if they could give me a bonus for my bad luck, and they gave me a $100 free bet. Remember, A hedged free bet is worth 70% of its value, so that one phone call made me $70.
Use specific books as your hedge books, even if you are taking a couple percentage point lower conversion. Lets say that you are trying to hedge $1000 risk free bet from Draft Kings, and find a 50% conversion if you can hedge on Fanduel, but there is another game that is a 46% conversion on Betrivers. Betrivers has a much better VIP program, and if you are interested in obtaing VIP, it is a much better to hedge on Betrivers than fanduel, even if you are making 4% less profit.
